MPGC invites you to share your experience and knowledge at the 44th Annual Minnesota Planned Giving Conference

The 2020 Call for Presentations

The submission period for presentations is now closed. 

The Minneapolis Institute of Art, Minneapolis, MN
October 28-29, 2020

The conference typically attracts 200-250 development professionals, including planned giving professionals, attorneys, financial planners, accountants, and trust officers representing more than 150 organizations from across the country.

We're looking for breakout sessions that:

  • Relate to our theme, Philanthropy in Practice: Will your presentation provide information that is immediately useful for development professionals (planned giving and/or major giving) and allied professionals?
  • Challenge our audience:
    • For those who have 10 or more years of gift planning experience, they appreciate sessions that go beyond the basics. At the same time, we will offer sessions for those new to development or planned giving.
  • Engage our audience with case studies.
  • May include the following topics:
    • Gift Structuring
    • Capital Campaigns
    • Working with Advisors and Volunteers
    • Small Shops, Gift Annuity Programs
    • Ethics
    • Social Media
    • Career Management
    • Stewardship
    • Other Relevant Major and Planned Gift Topics
