SECURE and CARES Act Panel: Industry Insights & Perspectives (Part II)
Wednesday, May 27, 2020
12:00 - 1:00 PM

CFRE: 1 | CLE: 1

The coronavirus pandemic has created a new landscape for donors, nonprofits and the legal community. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic the federal government sprang into action and passed the CARES Act. The CARES Act temporarily changed some of the provisions of the SECURE Act while providing economic relief to millions of Americans. Additionally the CARES Act created significant changes to how charitable contributions of cash will be treated in 2020.

Please join MPGC as Jay Kautt of Securian Financial moderates an esteemed panel of industry experts who will dig into both the SECURE Act and the CARES Act. The panel discussion will review legal, nonprofit and consultant case studies in response to these important Acts and our current climate.
