Discussion Details

During this session, participants will review how best to establish a strong foundation for estate planning from the perspective of a financial advisor with extensive experience in integrating gift planning into wealth strategies as well as an attorney with specialized expertise specifically in legacy giving. The discussion will focus on key strategies and tools for wealth management, planned giving, legacy protection and tax efficiency.

By listening to and understanding her clients’ goals, Laura crafts their estate plans in a manner that implements their wishes in a tax efficient manner. She represents corporate and individual fiduciaries in probate and trust administration matters, gift and estate tax filings and audits, and in disputed probate and trust matters. She works collaboratively with financial advisors, accountants, corporate and individual trustees, and beneficiaries to administer estates and trusts efficiently and professionally. She is especially gifted at helping business owners craft and implement realistic, tax-savvy succession plans and administering complex, disputed trusts and estates.
