We stand with our community

We are horrified by the tragic death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police and stand with our community in its commitment to address the long-standing and systemic anti-Black racism that has plagued our nation. As an organization of gift planning professionals we have our own work to do to make both our work and our organization more equitable. We must address systems that historically have left out too many people and contributed to racial injustices. We must ask ourselves, whose voices are missing and take action to ensure those voices are heard.

The very nature of our profession is to connect people to issues and invite them to become part of the solution. MGPA invites all of you to join us as we commit ourselves, our organization and our community to working against racially discriminatory systems and disparities, creating a better world for us all.
