Message from the Chair

Dear Minnesota Planned Giving Council Members,

Thank you for the opportunity to serve as president of your Minnesota Planned Giving Council I know I speak for fellow board members when I tell you it’s a privilege to lead and represent our remarkable organization.

We have a lot to be proud of. For more than 40 years, MPGC has been among the largest and most respected councils of our national organization, the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning. Our 350 members include fund-raising professionals from non-profit organizations large and small; as well as attorney’s, CPA’s, and other licensed advisors who share an interest in helping their clients invest assets into organizations that improve our communities. We host a remarkable two-day conference that draws national speakers and participants from all over the mid-west. Our morning breakfasts and seminars are well attended and score highly on satisfaction surveys. MPGC offers rewarding mentor and networking opportunities with the best and brightest in our field. Finally, our organization is financially solid and well managed.

Over the next year you can expect exciting breakfast programs and seminars. Your board members will work accomplish a new, two-year strategic plan and committee members will work to add even greater value to you, our members.
